I need some help with quota grouping for employee groups and sub groups. Based on the combination of PSA and EG& ESG, applicable quotas vary. I'm confused on how to do Employee sub group grouping. Can some body tell me as how complex it will be if do one to one grouping for PSA and ESG grouping. We have 9 Personnel Sub areas and 40 Employee group and sub group combinations.
Thanks,
Rajiv
Just think about personnel movement. If they change and are no longer available, employee will be in error as long as you don't put a validity end to the quota. You may also have the option to set the quota eligible to everyone (but of course, won,t generate if EE must'nt have it)

Rares,
Example:
Employee1 in PSA-01 and EG-1, ESG-01 has quotas 1,3,5,6
Employee2 in PSA-02 and EG-1, ESG-01 has quotas 1,4,5,6
In this case how do you want me to do the grouping
Thanks,
Swapan

this need not be a complicated one
first group your personnel sub areas acording to the kind of same absences
like if all of them have absences then one grouping then group all into one.
then coming to esg here u group them according to the quotas.
like esg--1 sl20 cl15
l esg--2 sl15 cl20
esg--3 sl20 cl15
then group 1&3 into one number and esg--2 into another group
when writing generation rules
the combination of psg and esg grouping will come.
if u can see psg grouping is for absences and esg grouping is for quotas.

Hi!
Create your EE groups, subgroups and PAreas and SubAreas according to your requirements. For Quota, there is the feature QUOMO (tranzaction PE03) in which you can group all the combination of HR structures. You only have to create the number of groupings for quota for which different rules apply.
Hope this helps!
