Quota Generation

The client has a unique requirement wherein the annula leave quota is accrued on annual basis, but the employee can avail them after completion of 18 months only.

This happens for the first 5 years, where in employee can take Annual Leave only 3 times (of 30 days each -fixed). We have tried the quota accrual 6 months interval, but the quota is not getting generated properly.

For your reference, if an employee was hired on 01/01/2004, then he can avail first annual leave on or after 1st July 2005.

check base entitlement and generation rules

Hi,

in the generation rules for the Absence Quotas you can set the deduction period based on the validity period. So fiddling around with these settings will indeed meet your requirements.

Hi,

If I m not wrong, whatever quota will generate in each 6months & that will transfer to IT2006 after 18 months & on which employee can use quota after 18 months, for 5 years.

For generating quota u can use accrual.

But for transfer of quota after 18 months, create period parameter for 18 months.

In T559L > selection rule >transfer, select other periods radio btn. & use the period parameter.

We have convinced the user to generate quota at an interval of 6 months. Limited the amount to leave to be taken ata time to 30. As long as employee has absence quota of 30 days, he can take annual leave, otherwise error message is flashed.
