Quota Corrections Vs Absence Quota information (Transaction PT_QTA10)

Hi All,

I was performing Quota Corrections through IT 2013 Successfully, I am unable to view my corrections in Transaction PT_QTA10.

Ex:-

Employee is not eligible for "xx" days, I have made corrections in IT 2013 Quota Corrections which is successful

Issue :-  Display Absence Information (Transaction PT_QTA10) is still showing "xx" days for the employee.

How to overcome the issue between Quota Corrections Vs Display Absence Information "XX" Days.

IT 2003 is fine, Issue with display of absence information which is not getting updated with removal of "xx" number of Days.

Kind Regards,

Hare Rama Hare Krishna

This may be due to inconsistencies between IT 2001 and IT 2006.

In txn PT50 or in PT_QTA10 txn for an employee - re:absence quotas,

a)The relevant program reads IT 2006, IT 2001, table PTQUODED.

b)The last table is the link between IT 2001 & IT 2006 created in IT 2001 processing - with quota counter, document number for time data - here for IT 2001, date created, dedn hrs/days.  It is used to obtain dedn for an abs record and it dos not use the dedn in IT 2006.

c)It uses IT 2006 to get abs quota gen date & entl and IT 2001 for abs hrs/days;

d)Then in Absence quotas' tab, it calculates/displays for the selected period the entl balance for an abs quota type.

To correct inconsistencies, try following steps for the relevant employee/s:

1.Program RPTKOK00:

1. This pgm is developed by SAP to report such inconsistencies between IT 2001 and IT 2006.

1.2 In SA38 or SE38 txn, enter pgm name and press execute.  It will show sel.screen.

1.3 Tick 'Check leave ded' & 'Check absence quotas'; select all applicable quota types.

1.4 Press F8 func key or Execute icon.

1.5 If there are any inconsistencies, it will report the same and provide an option to correct these.  Select the option to correct;it will show a new sel. screen for pgm RPTBPC10 as in step 2.

1.6 Even otherwise, go to step 2.

2  RPTBPC10 Leave accrual and quota dedn - correction

2.1 In sel.input screen, tick 'Correct leave ded', Correct abs quota', 'log output', 'save new deduction'.

2.2 Press F8 func key or Execute icon.

2.3 It will report records corrected for the relevance abs quota types & abs types.   Some inconsistencies may still exist; in this case or if non reported go to step 3.

3. Recreate IT 2001.

3.1  From the latest IT 2001 record with inconsistency to the next older one, delete IT 2001 noting down the abs period and abs type.

3.2 Recreate the deleted IT 2001 records from the earliest record deleted to the latest one.

3.3 Normally this should correct the inconsistencies.

It is a common issue known to most PT admin & func.consultants.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

After Quota corrections check in the IT 2006, if changes are not incorporated then run the TE and then check the report.

Hi,

1. First check it ABWKONTI table in Time Evaluation make sure test run should be unchecked.

2. Go to PA30 and check info type 2006 whether quota days are changed or not..!

3. Once quota days are changed in info type 2006 check it PT50 also Quota days.

4. Above all fine with correct result then in PT_QTA10 should be come. Make sure validity period dates should be selected properly...!

Hi Mohan,

Thanks for the reply

Most of the Quotas have issues with the validity period while performing quota corrections.
