Quality notification and Internal order link

Hello,

The process is following: Purchase order for raw material > Goods receipt on Quality stock > Create Quality notification (QM) for damaged product.

In QM notification we have costs for damaged product and it is fine. But also we need costs "others", which are not related to material.

For this purpose I can create statistical Internal order via Follow-up action in QM notification.

But the problem is that I can not find any link between QM notification and Internal order. Only what we have is QM notification ID in the description of Internal order. Do we have any link on tables level?

Dear Alex,

thank you for the details provided. 

I recommend to check whether the internal order is created with a custom function or standard in the action box/follow-up function.

A lot of object types - not each though - created from the quality notification are added to the document flow of the notification in standard. There is a 'Document Flow' button in the QM02/QM03 transaction to check those.

If you have a custom function creating the order, you might consider implementing a feature, which adds the relation between the order and notification to the document flow. It worth to search in this topic a little, whether it can fit your business needs.

Hi Albert. There is no custom function for follow-up action. Thanks for the reply and confirming, that there is only way, is to create relations by enhancing of standard logic.

1652636 - Documents not displayed in document flow of Q notifications.

It can influence the display of standard documents.
