Hi All,
I have created service PO for 10QTY (5 for cost center 1 and 5 for cost center 2) and now when I go to service entry sheet (ML81N) I am able to post all the 10 QTY to cost center 1 but we dont want like this we want system to show error message if the qty exceeds per cost center.
How to configure this.Please advise.
Thanks in advance

Hi Pawan,
I think you have created 2 services in a purchase order of single line item.
If so, you are bound to get both the services at the time of maintaining the service entry sheet (ML81N). In this screen you have an option of selecting the single service for the desired cost center (you can see the cost center in the screen) and process further.
When you want to make service entry for another cost center, process the same way as mentioned above only difference, select second service in the item.
This way you can make two seperate service entries for single item service PO involving two different cost centres.
This is one way of maintaining the service entries.
Other way is as suggested by earlier answer, that says, create two seperate line items for seperate cost centres.
In case of second method, a stores person can make service entry. But in 1st case, the person who knows the actuals can only punch the entry. This is only discadvantage of 1st scenario.
Otherwise you can make 2 seperate service entries for two seperate services of single line item.
If your issue resolves with this I would appreciate if you award points.

Rahul Puranik.
