Dear Experts,
I have an issue pertaining to the Ptax Calculation. We have run the Payroll for April & May 2012 and the Ptax for these months has been deducted properly i.e. Rs. 175/- (Maharashtra State).
But for the month of June the Ptax is being deducted as Rs. 200/- which is incorrect.
Below are the details:
Earnings
Basic Pay : 7500
HRA : 1943
Conveyance : 188
Medical : 250
Total : 9881
Deductions
Ee PF Contri : 900
Ee ESI Contri : 173
Ee LWF : 12
PTax - Split Period: 200
Salary Advance: 1500(-)
Total: 2785
/101 Wage Type Amount : 9881
/3PS Amount : 10381
Can you please advise if there is some issues with the Processing or Cumulations Class
Thanks,
Ayubi
Why does it say PTAX-Split period . Where there any splits in the basic pay records or any other records ?
check your LOG , Quite possible that there was a split in the records and for the same reason your PTax is getting calculted according to the splits .
You need to use operation ELIMI to eliminate any splits for the records .
Please award points if useful .
Thanks
Lakshmi
