We have a scenario for an employee whose province of employment is Ontario and Employment Jurisdiction - Quebec, province of Health tax - Ontario, and Province of Residency - Quebec. . The company does not operate in QC but there is a liability for Workers Comp QC, not WSIB Ontario

When we have updated the tax infotype and tried to process payroll there is an error populated
Taxation identification number (Quebec) not found

Can you please guide us in such scenario

Navita

Hi Navita,

Please check if the employee has the Provincial Tax CA (0462) infotype for both provinces as this is needed due to technical limitations of the solution.
Reminder: QRES option should only be selected if the employee received a letter of authority.

Best Regards,

Lea
