SUB:Pros & Cons of Reference Operational sets ,waiting for your help,Why should it be implemented,what is the use

This support from your end if it conveys me the features involved,functionality,Transaction codes with a simulation of scenario ,i would be greatly obligued.

We go for the concept of Reference Operation Sets, when certain operations are being used repeatedly

in mfg of products

These repeated operations can be grouped into reference operations sets and can called up for any specific material/routing combination

You maintain reference opr set in CA11 and it is not associted to any material ( unlike in regular routing- which is linked to a material )

Pros:

1.Grouping of Oprs and can be called up for any routing/material specific

2. No link to material

The same concept applies for Reference Rate Routing,(CA31)

Cons:

I am not sure of cons of Ref Rtg

Sir,Thanks i had this information but what i was looking was a matrix if it was readily available which would be useful to give a biords eye view to my client why Reference Operation sets should be implemented with some advantages & disadvanatages if any.

Anyway i am thankfull to you sir
