Proposing the Yield Quantity based on the previous Phase(Yield Quantity) in COR6N

Hi,

Is there any way to propose the Phase -Yield quantity automatically(not the Order quantity) based on the previous Phase confirmation quantity in T.Code

COR6N? I have searched in the forum regarding this and found multiple opinion. Can someone share the correct answer and solution for the same?

For Example: Order Quantity = 100,

Phase No -0020 - Confirmed Yield = 50

Now when confirming the second phase 0040, the system is proposing the yield quantity as 100 and not 50.(The exact requirement is the system should

not allow to confirm more than 50 quantity for phase 0040).

(In the confirmation parameters for operation sequence the field setting is E - Error When Operation sequence is not adhered to).

Hi Mangalraj,

There is no standard setting in SPRO to control this. You have to do it through custom development.

I have done this through BADI  "WORKORDER_CONFIRM" , you have to write logic

Pass field value of VORNR and LMNGA to table AFRU for the next operation confirmation qty.

Thanks,

Dear Biplob & Anupam,

Any suggestions regarding this thread?

http://scn.sap.com/thread/1166325

Can you please check and let me know whether are you able to propose the quantity for the second

phase automatically based on the previous phase confirmed quantity, as said by few members?

Mangalraj,

In Discrete setup, SAP provides the standard option of proposing the yield based on previously confirmed operation. Made possible via the Production scheduling profile.

OPKP for PP-General will show the option available under Confirmation as 'Adjust quantities in order to actual values'. With this indicator set, whatever qty is confirmed for 1st operation gets carried over to the next operation. Note that based on confirmation qy being lesser than the original planned qty the operation quantity also gets updated accordingly.

Designed for scenarios when individual cpts are to be made available in multiple/operations or other than the 1st operation.

CORY tcode/definition for PP-PI, on the otherhand does not have this standard option provided as in PP-General again because of the production nature becoming 'process'.

SAP design should be like this because during confirmations system needs to calculate the component quantities also (for every operation if the case exists) and unless this is explicitly made known system cannot proceed further.A change to operation quantity alone can achieve this which is made available through the PSP indicator.

So inference is it does not look possible in the standard design/PP-PI to achieve this and you need to have some sort of enhancement.

Dear Mangalaraj,

It should have to work if you set OPJB message RU117 as error message with the setting you have done.

If not then please cross check these OSS note 484531 and 1612398.

Dear Rupesh,

In my understanding RU 117 is not relevant to this context, but however it's already set as E in OPJB.

Any suggestions on this http://scn.sap.com/thread/1166325

Hi Mangalraj,

In my opinion instead of getting proposed confirmed qty of previous phase to next phase, we can only restrict  it so that qty cannot be confirmed greater that pervious confirmed qty by making message RU 117 or RU442 as an error or implmenting abovesaid BAdi.

Hi Mangalraj,

Yes it should work couple of checks,

You have to specify in the parameters for the order confirmation (OPK4) that the activity sequence is supposed to be checked. In the order type dependent parameters (COR4), it must be specified that scrap can be acknowledged; on the other hand the operation quantity must correspond to the header quantity.

OSS note 508298 address the same.

Also you should have defined the phase relationship between these phase and contork key should not be a milestone.

Hi Mangalraj,

Please check BAdi-WORKORDER_CONFIRM for you requirement. As suggested by you in below threads:

https://scn.sap.com/thread/2054741

https://scn.sap.com/thread/1963376

We  can restrict the confirm qty for second phase not greater thatn the confirmed qty for the first one, instead of getting proposed for the next phase.
