Profitcenter change in Material Master

Hi,

User wants to change the existing profitcenter in material master for many materials I would like to know

what are impacts in Financial side if we change the profitcenter?

what are the prerequisites to change the profitcenter?

HI,

When ever u do posting against that materil in future, the new profit center will be determinded for reporting purpose..

This is commom practice in business to change the profit centers if required with business approval.

Since profit center is for reporting tool, there is no direct impact on FIc side.
