Profit Segment not available on import supplier invoice

Currently on the template of app "Import Supplier Invoice", there is no way to add profit segment.

Looking the influence request, I found an old request already closed in 2021 with status "Not planned" due lack of vote.

There is no way to vote against on this old influence request.

What can be the next steps to request SAP for the development?

Open a new influence request?

Or as more than 2 years already past, any progress was made which enable to do the same differently?

I understand your concern!

However since there was not much vote for the influence request it was closed and not planned.
I would request you to raise an incident with SAP for this, so that your concern can be passed on to the Development team. And based on their recommendations you can again raise an influence request, if that is needed.

Current possible workaround

As we know that for now only option of profit center is available at item in the template and nothing related to profitability segment.

Hence my suggestion would be that until the functionality is not present, please make use of the APIs available in SAP API Hub, refer to below one as one of the reference.

Possibility to extend the template with custom fields has always been there.
