Product cost by sales order

Hi 

Is it possible to use product cost by sales order in S4 HANA Cloud? I only see "Product Cost by Period" and "Product Cost by Order" in the help portal.

But if I use "Change Sales Order", and click More-->Extra-->Costing, system will show the screen for Create sales order cost estimate. And I can see a costing variant PPC4 Sales Order Costing. So not sure if this function can be used in S4 HANA Cloud

We do not have separate app for doing sales order costing like CK51N but the expectation is that for sale order you can go via sales order and do the sales order costing.

we have SSCUI for cost component structure (Y1 is lead) and also we have valuation variant SSCUI (by plant) also so you can make modification to that.

sales order costing used costing variant PPC4 and linked valuation variant is 001.

Thanks for your reply. Can we have some customization for costing variant PPC4 by expert configuration now? I don't see it in SSCUI.

You can config valuation variant 001 with SSCUI 102608.

After creating the customer project, the sales order is generated automatically when setting up the billing plan (in App Plan Customer Projects, Billing tab). The sales order is a 1:1 copy of the project, meaning that for each project there is one sales order and for each billing item there is a corresponding sales order item.

The opposite behavior - that is, creating the sales order first and generating a customer project out of it - is not supported.
