Hi Renjith,

when i try to lock the particular employee pernr 999.... do you mean to day that you are using function module "BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEU" and "BAPI_EMPLOYEE_DEQUEUE" for locking and unlocking Employee?

If not then please use these 2 FM for Locking and Unlocking Employee.

Hi Renjith,

It means you want to lock the pernr which is already locked by someone.,, hummm buddy then you have to delete the existing lock object from the pernr first.

Manually this can be done using SM12 or search for some FM to delete the lock objects.

You cannot update Pernr through Portal if some one (including you) has already locked it.
