Problem with FormattedSearch

Hi All,

I had taken some userdefined fields(Units and Totals-->Quantity) in BOM and assign a formula to get the weight using formatted search.

The query is working fine upto 2 decimal result,if the result have more than 2 decimal places its not working.

I had checked in General settings, display there I had given 6 decimal places for Quantity and Measures(ALL).

If I run the query in Query Generator there also its taking upto 2 decimal places only.(SELECT 0.050.620.01/1000) this is the query I used , I need the full result.

The same thing is happening in all documents.

Pls let me know the result ..

Thanks&Regards,

Hi Chakrapani,

User this query in your formatted search

SELECT convert(varchar,0.050.620.01/1000)

Note : The field to which query is attached should be type alphanumeric, then only this query will work.

This will resolve your problem.

Hi Chakrapani,

Set the decimal places for Amount(Administration -> System Initialization -> General Settings -> Display Tab) to 6 digits.

The Maximum Decimal Digits possible is only 6 Decimals.

But your requirment is,

0.050.620.01/1000 = 0.00000031

which means 8 decimal digits which is not possible in B1.
