Dear PP gurus,

I am running MRP first time for a plant .I have two level BOM. I am using 40 strategy for FG material.During the planning run i have selected processing key as NEUPL ( regenerative planning).

Once i run MRP , system is creating planed orders for FG and purchage requisitions for safety stock of rawmaterials. system is not exploding the BOM for MRP.And system is not creating any planning praposals for any materials(at least dependent requirements). And my bom's stastus is 1.

While doing standard cost estimation , BOM is exploded with out any problem.

can any body can suggest me how to resolve this problem.

Check the following and get back .....

1. Should used MD02 transaction

2. Open the over view tree and in transaction MD 04 and make sure all the structue available

3. Check you mentioned the MRP type in semi finished material ( first level bom materail)

If it is not work get back with the information of complete bom structure you are using

Dear Syed,

Thanks for your reply.I tested MRP run both MD01 and MD02.In MD04 tree overview systemm is showing one fg material. I am using PD- MRP type for all materials.

Here I am giving you my BOM structure..

FG : 10000002

BOM Items: 20000001(SFG) , 70000001(Packing material)

SFG:20000001

BOM items:30000001(RM)

Hi,

- Check in MRP 4 view of Fert and Halb Material for MRP for Dependent Requirement. It should be maintained as Materials for Dependent Requirements are Planned (Blank Option)

- If you are using Production Version then check whether production version is selected or not in Planned order of that Fert Code.Because if no production version is selected then BOM is also not selected and exploded.

- Check Valid From to To Date of BOM, Production Version.

- Check From to To Lot size of BOM and Production Version.

Dhaval

Hi,

Check whether all the materials including FERG and HALB are defined with 'PD' MRP type.

Also check whether the HALB materials also have the planning file entry. If it is not there create the entry using T-Code MD20.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Rohit.

Dear Prabhakar Reddy,

1.First check the requirement's date and your In-house production date for the header material, followed

by the component's Planned delivery time and GR Processing time.

2.IF you are using Production version means, ensure it's not locked and also the lot size and the validity

dates suits with your requirement's date and quantity.

3.If you have used Change number's for BOM creation(with release key ) means ,check whether has it

been released.

4.Check in OPPQ,whether have you assigned the BOM Selection ID and the Routing selection ID.

5.Also check whether the plant specific material status has been set for the component's in any of the

plant specific view.

Also check the points which Dhaval has mentioned.

Check and revert back.
