Preferred approach for Data transfer in S/4 HANA

Hi experts,

I would like to understand which is the preferred approach to transfer the (master/transaction) data in S/4 HANA

1. IDOC

2. Webservice/Proxy

3. Odata

With the push for new technologies, i would like to understand what is the road map for IDOC's in S/4 HANA.

I have tried to research if there is any guideline from the S/4HANA perspective. I have not been able to find a definitive approach listed as yet. Your thoughts & comments would be most helpful.

Hi Experts,

Its been some time since this question was posted. Would like to have the expert thoughts and opinion on this. I am particularly interested to know if IDOC's would continue to exist in the future or it would be phased out.
