Predefined appraisal Corporate goals

Hi,

In predefined appraisal when talent management specialist -> Corporate goals is clicked I am gettng the following error

"No personnel number assigned"

How to resolve this

This means that the user is not assigned to any personnel number, you need to go in IT0105 subtype 001 and assign the user here.

can you see the goals, assigned, Please can you change the period and verify.

for corporate goals and ensure the employee are assigned to the talent manager.

you need to do this in backend there is evaluation path defined.

The FM HRWPC_TEAMVIEWER is called

please can you check the iview properties as listed in the note 1336711.

check table V_T77TMCPARAMS_ORG and maintain the relationship of the talent manager etc

Specify Type of Reporting for Determining the Manager

Use

In this Customizing activity, you determine how the manager of an employee is determined in Talent Management. You have the following options:

Indirect

You can use the indirect relationship A742 (Indirectly Reports To) between the employeeu2019s position and the manageru2019s position. This is derived from the relationship A003 (Belongs To) between the employeeu2019s position and the organizational unit and the relationship A012 (Managesu2026) between the manageru2019s position and the organizational unit.

Direct

You can use the direct relationship A002 (Reports (Line) To) between the employeeu2019s position and the manageru2019s position.

Standard settings

In the standard system, the system uses the indirect relationship.

the list of employees which are processed in the 'Assessment' and

'TeamCalendar' iViews should be the same if you haven't changed

the default customizing and iView properties.

The difference is that the assessment iView shows only the employees

which have either no assessment or an asesment with status 'in process'

on the 'In Process' screen. Maybe some employees have already a

completed assessment (they should appear on the 'Completed' tab then).

The employee names are retrieved from the corresponding business

partner object in the assessment iView whereas the names in the

team calendar are read directly from the personnel administration data.

Maybe not all employees have a corresponding business partner object

assigned.

It is a prerequisite to run the talent management applications that

you have the business partner integration active and business

partner objects available for all employees (CPs).

You can find the documentation how to activate and create the BP

objects in IMG at 'Talent Management and Talent Development' ->

'Basic Settings' -> 'Activate Integration with SAP Business Partner'.

If you have the business partner integration already active it

is sufficient to run report HR_SYNC_PERSON to create the missing

BPs. But please keep in mind that the BP creation is only possible for

Ps which have at least the data of infotypes 0000, 0001, 0002 and 0006

maintained. Otherwise the needed data is incomplete.

you do that in PP01 for the employee and manager, But if there is reporting structure maintained. You wouldnt need this.

Also you need to check the OADP structure

Can you verify in this what orgview is being used

Hi Siddarth,

I have executed the report for synchronization it is showing green

The reporting structure is also maintained.

01.01.1900 31.12.9999 A 003 Belongs to O

02.04.2011 31.12.9999 A 008 Holder P

01.01.1900 31.12.9999 A 012 Manages... O

01.01.1900 31.12.9999 B 002 Is line su S

I have not maintained the indirect relationship.

Still the Issue Position not assigned is there.

In OADP what I have to change for talent mgt

Organizational view TMC_O_S_CP_INIT: The function module

HRTMC_GET_ORG_HIER_ROOT_ORG reads the organizational units that the user

of the TMS is directly responsible for to this user. Here, the following

new columns are filled:

TMC_O_SUB_L: The function module HRTMC_GET_ORG_HIER_DIR_LEADER reads the

name of the direct manager.

TMC_O_SUB_O: The function module HRTMC_GET_ORG_HIER_HAS_SUB_ORG checks

whether this organizational unit has subordinate organizational units.

TMC_O_SUB_S: The function module HRTMC_GET_ORG_HIER_HAS_SUB_POS checks

whether this organizational unit has subordinate positions.

When clicked on MSS-> Talent Mgt

Error "you are not assigned to a position"

When clicked on

Talent mgt Specialist -> Corporate goals

Error "No Personnel number assigned"

Then your manager or talent manager has no position assigned to him. Debug the above FM shared and you ll see no positions are returned under him to using the evaluaiton path
