In India GST has been rolled-out from 1-July-2017.
In GST regime, stock transfer process (for project stock also) requires invoice.
Scenario (Non-valuated project stock):
For network assigned PO,consumption entry is posted when GR is posted. So, full quantity is shown as consumed in system.
In actual scenario even though consumption is posted in system not all the stock is actually consumed. When required stock is physically transferred to another project.
STO prior to GST:
Prior to GST project to project stock transfer for non-valuated project stock was done by passing the FI entry. In this entry the project from which the stock was transferred was given a credit effect and the receiving project was given a debit effect.
Challenge:
In GST regime, stock transfer process (Non-valuated project stock scenario) requires invoice. FI JV entry for project stock transfer cannot be done.
Post GST what should be the process followed for stock transfer for non-valuated project stock.
Request for Inputs from the community.
Thanks and Regards
Ritesh
My query is specific to non-valuated project stock
Yes I have also gone through this comment. As I said already, SAP have released some 20+ notes related to STO with GST and I am not sure, whether any of those notes have code change for the business process what you mentioned. So you need to check in Service Marketplace (if not checked already those notes) and still if you feel that, there is a gap for this process, you can raise an OSS message before going for any customization.

Dear Lakshmipathi,
We have done below steps to transfer the stock from the non-valuated project:
1) Created a Z movement type using which we are uploading the plant stock. This is giving a debit to stock account and credit to an intermediate account.
2) A FI JV entry to knock off the intermediate account and credit the project with the account assignment of network activity.
Thank you for the inputs.

Couple of OSS notes 2435112, 2460798 etc., are there to take care of STO post GST and I am not sure, whether you have gone through those.

Dear G Lakshmipathi,
As suggested we checked the SAP notes for STO process with the MM consultant. Based on our understanding these notes provide the configuration steps, new process and the correction to the already provided SAP notes.
These notes have been implemented and we are clear about the STO process.
My query is specific to non-valuated project stock. I have mentioned my complete requirement in the question.
Thanks & Regards
Ritesh
