Posing error in QM

Hi all,

when i make an usage decision and post the material to scrap the following error is coming

Account 58015000 requires an assignment to a CO object

Message no. KI235

Diagnosis

You have not defined a CO account assignment for an account that is relevant to cost accounting

we have specified the cost center in cost element.but my client wants some alternative solution.because if i assign the cost center to the cost element all the posting to the cost element by default will go to that cost center .

pls give me an alternative solution

For the movement type 551 cost center assignment is mandatory. cosult for CO help to assign the cost center for the movement type.

Hi

This is the error regarding the cost center.

When you want to post any qty of material to scrap,it is mandatory to fill the respective cost center.

Try to fill the respective cost center when system prompts you.

It should get reolved.

Other wise consult your CO consultant with this error message.
