Ports as delivery address for Customers

Hi,

I have a question on how best to handle different ports as delivery addresses for customers, without having to create a different Ship-to-Party for each Delivery Port. In the end, it does also not make sense to me to define a port as a Party, since this is just a name of a port. I saw a simular question posted in 2012, with the suggestion to handle this through maintaining different data for shipping condition/loading group/plant, but that would not work within our company

Any other suggestions or new insights on this topic?

Hello Inge,

You can define different delivery address and billing address in the business partner. There is a field in the general data which you can define address without creating another ship-to party partner. Those addresses can also be used each report and output.
