hi guys

A scenario: A PO is created for value USD 100. When the user created a service entry sheet agains it, it allowed the user to create an SES worth USD 150. How is this possible? Are there any checks at configuration level to prevent this from happening?

Hi

Ensure the following:

1) In PO service line(services tab) basic data tab: unselect 'unlimited' and 'price change' indicators.

2) In the Limits tab, if you have given any values or selected 'no limit', you can add services to that extent.

3) In External Services Mgmt IMG, make messages SE 363 as error message.

Hi

Pls check the Tab "Limits" in Item detail in PO. Has an Overall Limit been mentioned there or is the field "No Limit" ticked. If either of the 2 fields are filled, it will allow your SES to exceed the PO amount.

Hope this clarifies.

Thanks

Is there any way to automatically transfer the po amount to the overall limit tab and untick 'no limit''? is there any configuration possible for this?

Hi

Why do you want that way ?

1) In standard, no limit is not ticked by default.

2) Why do you want PO amount to be in overall limit ? If you do like this, this will double your PO amount. Remember that the amount here is the amount for 'Unplanned services'. Only when you cannot give planned services (services tab), you should give here.
