Hi Gurus,
Current Indicator in RT table have the values as A and P. So as payroll is run in the month Feb and retro run for Jan also. There are two result in RT with the Current Indicator A(Feb) and P(Jan retro) OR both have the same indicator as A and P for the previous Payroll RUN...
Please clear this ..

Request clarification before answering.
A= Current payroll result
P= prevous payrol result
as and when there is retro prevous results will be indicated as P and current results with A.
if there is no retro then all results will have A as indicatior

HI Srinivasarao,
Thanks for the reply.
I am still a little bit confused ..AS there in T-code PC_PAYRESULT (for cluster data display) :
Payroll is run for Feb.2008
SEQNR FPPER FPBEG FPEND INPER IPEND SRTZA
61 200710 20080101 20080131 200710 20080131 P
62 200710 20080101 20080131 200711 20080229 A
63 200711 20080201 20080229 200711 20080229 A
The Last Two row show the payroll results for the Feb.2008 wih the A indicator.
Is this corrrect
OR the below rows are correct(AS i have understand from your reply)
62 200710 20080101 20080131 200711 20080229 P
63 200711 20080201 20080229 200711 20080229 A
Please clear my doubt

hi Lakhan
S.NO 61 meant for the regular run results for january. if you want to see his payslip or any reports for january it should pick this results only
S.NO62 retro results when you have run payroll in february there is master data change for january after january payroll run. hence new results were found with indicator A, any salary change for janaury will be adjusted with feb salary
hence 61 indicator is P, and 62 indicator is A
Hi..
Indicator: Status of record
This indicator tells you how old a payroll result is. It can have one of three specifications.
Specification 'A':
Used for a payroll result generated by the last payroll run, that is, the result is current.
Specification 'P':
Used when a payroll result has been replaced by a new record during a retroactive accounting run. It then becomes the predecessor of the current record.
Specification 'O':
A payroll result is marked 'O' when it has been replaced by at least two retroactive accounting runs, that is the record is no longer current, nor is it the predecessor of the current record.
