Hi,

Which document you created this layout for? Please check if you are in Item or Service mode of the document, you won't see an Item layout if you are in Service mode and vica versa.

Regards,

Nat

If you can remember the name of the layout, run this query to see whether it is there or if it has been deleted. Can you find your layout among the results of this query?

SELECT * FROM RDOC T0 ORDER BY T0.[DocName]

Issue was found that few end users had authorization to edit PLD,seems that one of them had deleted it.

Hi All,

Related to the note to copy one PLD template from one DB to another, this note was archived since it is now out of date. There are no further plans to provide a similar note.

If I'm understanding you right, you'd like to copy customized print

layout designer templates from one database to another.

In this case we'd suggest SAP add-on Copy Express.

PLD template can be copied via category Customization->Print

Layouts->Documents and Reports

Please note the following:

1. Please upgrade Business One to patch level above PL48 first

2. Please use the latest Copy Express patch level PL101

To have a closer view of how to use Copy Express, please go through the

following documentation center:

http://service.sap.com/smb/sbo/documentation->;

SAP Business One Add-Ons 2005->

Add-Ons landing page->

Copy Express

Paul

How do you copy PLD to another database ?

There used to be a SAP Note # 600813 which provided a SQL script to copy a PLD layout (e.g. INV20003) from one database to another. The only requirement is that the 2 databases are on the same server.

Recently this note has become set to 'internal use only' so we can no longer view it in the notes database. I suggest you raise a support issue to SAP and ask them for the information held in Note 600813.

kind regards,

Cathy
