Planned order confirmation from MES in REM possibility

I want to use REM , but when confirming through MFBF, I want the planned order to get integrated with MES for confirmation from the shop floor. Is this possible?

Fully Agree with Caetano.

Did not get why double confirmation? in MFBF and again in MES?

I had a scenario in my previous project. They used the planning board for planning /editing planned order. But confirmation was not from MFBF. The operation control key was configured for the MES system so MFBF was not possible.

Hello Vrinda

I don't think it makes sense to integrate the planned order with MES when you post the backflush in MFBF, because you are already posting the confirmation.

You should let MRP generate your planned orders and integrate them with MES on beforehand, and use a BAPI to post the backflush from MES, so that you don't need to run MFBF. If you want to manually create planned orders, you can use transaction MF50.

Caetano
