Hi All,

I have strategy plan of weekly cycle. It was runing ok .Once Two times planned date is skippped. The next planned date has come after 2 weeks instead of 1 week. What could be the reason? Screen shot is attached herewith. Call no 102(planned date on 26.10.2012) & call no 103(Planned date on 02.11.2012) is skipped . Afterwards, for call no 104 ,planned date has come on 18.11.2012. Actualy it should be on 09.11.2012 since the cycle is 1 week. So, call whose planned date should be on 09.11.2012 is missing .Please suggest .Thanks in advance.

Even if you see the 98th & 99th calls, the difference is not week.

Is this performance based or time based??

Hi Maheswaran,

This is time based only. The 98th & 99th calls difference is because of shiftfactor influnce. As completion date is shifted from the planned date. But I could not understand the reason for call no 104. Shift factor is 100%, tolerance is 10%, scheduling period is 365 days, cycle is 1 week maintained in maintenance plan.

It looks like the system has used the 9 actual days from call 101, plus the 7 day cycle to give a total of 16 days.

Then added these 16 days to the plan date of call 103 (02.11,2012)..

Select the row for call 104 and press the button at the bottom of the screen which looks like a calculator  (algorithm) and send a screen shot.

One other question, are you using a factory calendar in your plan?

Hi PeteA,

Thanks a lot.Yes,system is considering 9 days shift. Please find attached the document for call no 104.

But that 9 days shift already adjusted in call no 102( the subsequent call of call no 101). So,how it is again affecting call no 104 ?

We are also using factory calendar in maintenance plan. How factory calendar can influence this date?

Pranjal,

This looks like a bug.

Have a look at  OSS Note 1572682
