PIR and STO

How I can make sure planned independent requirement should not considered in stock transfer ( Intra and inter both ) and  Production Order  ? We want only it should consider sales orders.

Thanks for the response ! I followed the note and try to do config change as it was mentioned in the note. I made the following change in OVZI . Before VSF and value 1 was not assigned to item category ULN.. Still PIR is considering the STO and material master has strategy 40 assigned to it.

Hello,

In standard SAP, stock transfers do not consume PIR. Make sure the BAdI MD_PIR_FLEX_CONS is not implemented.

So standard strategy 40 with suitable consumption parameters should suffice the requirement.
