Physical Inventory Document Shows Book Quantity of 0 When There is Stock in Unrestricted

After entering a count of 62,208 EA for this physical inventory document, the comparison is showing that there is a book quantity of 0 and therefore a difference of 62,208.000. The issue is, there is actually a quantity of 62,208 EA in unrestricted for that material/sloc/batch. It seems if we create a recount document, then complete the count, the book quantity will be correct, but I cannot figure out why this is happening in the first place. Has anyone experienced this before?

Could you post MB51 for material and check how you received that inventory on ECC? Did it come from 701 or 702 or 711 or 712 and what is user ID that posted the inventory -- what is the posting and creation date?

Also add the documents on the EWM side that you have performed for this product--My understanding your stock will only go to ECC or S4 Core when you post the differences.

Please double check movement history and also confirm when you posted the differences to ECC?

Another thing to check to make sure you do not have any errors in message queue --WM MON-->Tools --Message Queue

We are on S/4. These are IM physical inventory documents, not WM or EWM relevant PI documents. This count document is the first count document for this batch in this sloc. The same user that completed the PI count above posted the only movement below.

Complete MB51 history for this material/batch in this sloc -

seems weird -- i thought batch may be playing trick but i could not replicate-- when you are creating PI document --are you freezing the inventory? and entering batch in the PI document or let system determine at time of Count?

We are not freezing inventory. SAP is taking book inventory at time of count. The batch is determined at time of PI document creation.
