Hi UK PY Experts,

I am seeking one help from you regarding pension calculation.

In table T5GPBSP_UNP ER pension rates are fixed for all amount range lets say XX percentage however for a very few employees , value is not coming correct.

I explored alot but could not find the exact issue . For reference I took two employees whose IT 0008 and IT 71 data are similar in all respect but for one employee pension rates are correct , other getting wrong value.

Please assist me with some inputs.

Regards

Priya

Hello Harish,

Also , would like to add that values are not coming correct for GBLGP, PENS table has got updated with the values which does not exist in table T5GPBSP_UNP under salary band of EE.There is no issue with ER pension rate with respect to IT 71

Hi Experts,

Can I please have some inputs.

Would like to again add that LGPS ER Rates calculation is totally standard and it should take values from T5GPBSP_UNP as per salary band .

For all salary band, rates are maintained same XX however in payroll run I can see system takes different figures in processing of GBLGP for both the Employees , higher rate for having higher salary band - which should not be the case.

I consulted from ABAPers as well however nothing is being figured out.

Looking forward for expert inputs.

Want to add - There can be a chance that some SAP NOTE would be missing which is required to have for LGPS

I found one relevant note 1856846 however I need some inputs from experts.

Else not I will have to raise an OSS.

This thread would be closed now since I managed to investigate the issue.

Just for reference for all, pension scheme was coming under protected schemes hence salary exceeding certain range, ER contri rate was getting picked up from T5GPBSP_PRO and system was behaving correctly.
