PCR for PF Admin Charges

Hi Experts,

PCR is calculating correctly for PF Admin Charges, edli charges etc. for PF. But as per our client, when they include VPF Amount then system should calculate "VPF Amount *100/12" and this should Add Base Wages i.e. Basic + DA (which is fluctuating every month). Adding Base Wages and VPF and then multiplying with 0.85% and then giving the answer.

For Example: If emp is contributing VPF Amount as Rs 1000  and Base Wages ( Basic + DA i.e. 10000 + 20000 = 12000)

Then what system should calculate VPF Amount as 1000*100/12 = 8333.33 + 12000 (Base Wages) = 20333.33

Now system should multiply 20333.33 * 0.85 /100 = 172.833305

Please help me!!!

Besr Regards,

Raj

Dear Raj,

The above calculation can be done through a PCR.

First take the value of Basic + DA and store in a variable lets say &VPF

Then calculate VPF amount and add the VPF amount with variable &VPF.

Now in the final step you can multiply VPF amount with the 0.85 and pass it to standard wage type /3F2.

Dear Raj,

Example: Basic Wage Type = 1000, DA Wage Type = 1001, VPF Wage Type = 1002.

*

     ****

     1002

          AMT=1000

          AMT+1001

          ADD&VPF

          ZERO= A

          AMT=1002

          AMT*KZVPF1 (you can maintain the value 100/12 in a constant ZVPF1 in T511K)

          AMT+&VPF

          AMT*KZVPF2 (you can maintain the value .85/100 in constant ZVPF2  in T511K)

          ADDWT *

You can try this.

Can you elaborate, What is the reason behind this logic "Then what system should calculate VPF Amount as 1000*100/12 = 8333.33 + 12000 (Base Wages) = 20333.33"
