Dear All,

Payroll users were able to simulate and print the payslips in PDF from transaction PC00_SM08_CALC_SIMU.All of a sudden it is not working and throwing an error related to ADS. We dont have ADS server in our landscape and it was working fine and suddenly stopped working. No changes were made in any perspective in the system. It is failing in both DEV and QA systems.Problem started together at a time in two different systems strange !!!

Environment

OS: Windows

DB: SQL 2008

SAP: ECC 6 EHP5

Is ADS functionality delivered in EHP 5? if so how can i find out and resolve the issue.

Error:

ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.Processin(200101ADS:  com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adob

Raj

Dear All,

I would also like to tell you that, when user clicks on FORM button in the transaction, Payslips in PDF format would be seen on the screen before printing. We are getting error as soon as we click on FORM button before sending to printer.

Error:

ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.Processin(200101ADS:  com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adob

Dear Raj,

I believe ADS instillation is mandatory for printing PDF.

Dear Dora,

I have just checked in sm59 and i did find an ADS RFC connection under HTTP connection to external server and when i tested the connection it is failing with following error. So does this mean ADS is configured. I only joined last week and do not have information on the landscapes yet.

SM59 error

Status HTTP Response405
Status TextMethod Not Allowed
Duration Test Call80 ms

Dear Raj,

Basically 405 errors can arise because the Web server is not configured to take data from the client at all.

Hi All,

I have fixed this problem after restarting ICM services from SMICM on PI where ADS is configured.

Thanks for help.
