I am working on ECC 6.0 and current patch level is 63.
Could you please let me know whether I can go along with the same patch level for update this note, else what should be the favorable patch level for doing so.

The note : 1706872 related to Union Budget changes 2012 has been released.
you should be on min of SAP 600 SP81 for appying the note.
