Hi All,

During creation of planned order for a material i am facing the below problem.

It was not possible to explode the panthom assembly

The material is Assembly material and it has multiple BOM.

Could any one kindly explain the reason for the above problem and solution for the same. As per our analysis it problem nay be because of Validity of some of the BOM expired. Any way dont know the exact reason.

Thanks In Advance

Karthick

Karthick,

To trouble shoot easily, I would suggest you to create a manually planned order for the Phantom Assembly to see what the problem is rather than going around too many things. (You need not save the planned order, if you are not allowed to do that)

Dear Karthick,

Is the product for which you are creating the planned order is a phantom assembly?

If means the system proposes this message and in normal cases the system creates the purchase req/planned orders only for

the components of the pahantom assembly and not for the phantom assembly.

Check and revert back.
