Output Message

We created a output type for Automatic Fax message in PO.Users wants to print those POs automatically too.How I can achive this functionality ? Can I do with same output type?

Hi,

You will not be able to do it with the same message type as the mode of communicatiuon is different.

Please configure a new message type to do teh same.. Moreover, make sure you use the same smartform against it, that you have used for the \fax, if not your layout could be messed up

So if I create one more output for print and put the same condition in MN01 as fax then in that case it will print and fax both and in future if I like to use other medium(not fax not print) do I have to create another output type ?

Create or use an existing message type, make sure thaccess sequence is the same as that of Fax, make sure the comm method is print in MN04/ 05, as it is for the PO and not RFQ.. and you are good to go

Also, in the procedures, make sure the Smart form is the same as that of you r fax message type

I am assuming you are conversant with configuration of message type and any additional settings you mught have to make, with regards to fine tuning message type, etc..
