Outbound Interface Custom API - Trigger point from SAP

Hi SAP Public Cloud Community,

We have a scenario for outbound interface where we need to create a custom Odata API in SAP system and we want to have a trigger point in SAP with which data can be pushed from SAP system to CPI.

Could anyone please let us know how can we set the trigger point in SAP system with custom Odata API.

Without further detail your request may not be addressed with a definite response. Let me try an approach as I understand the question: You're looking for an event or user action to initiate an OData API to perform a GET (READ) of data set(s) in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and make them available in SAP BTP cloud platform integration. Here are some abstract options: 

• As proxy for an actual event you could schedule this GET periodically, programmatically. Or with a 'job'.
• A user action as trigger may be incorporated in a custom app (example: https://developers.sap.com/group.abap-custom-ui-s4hana-cloud.html)
• A business event triggers the API's GET method (Event Driven Integration with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud u... - SAP Community)
