Dear All,
I have a scenarion where in for specific material, it takes 15 days to procure. The materials is required for the assembly to be done inhouse. Procurement is made only after production order is created. How to configure this so that production order will only get scheduled after 15 days or after the receipt of the material?
Thanks in advance,
RG
Dear ,
1.Did you have kept the functionality in Production Schedulnig parametrs -OPU3-Start date in the past ?
Here if you can keep 30 days as the satrt date in the past and Back ward scheduling as scheduling type , the n Goto Production Order -CO02-Select the Backward Scheduling option -Adjust the Basic finsih Date so that start Date on 15 days back days later and re-schedule the Order .
Or else , you need to re-schedule the order based on the delivery date at Basic Finish Date field ( Start will be material mavailablity date ) .
2.Maintain planned delivery time as 15 days in MRP2.
2.Goto Production Order -Opperation Overview -select Operation -Dispatch -Select operation line items -double clik-Select date -Adjust the Set up /Processing /Tear down date and time and rescheul the opeation so that it will automatically schedule the order .
Try and revert back

Hi,
Create PIR on the date of dispatch, as it is backward scheduling system will calculate the number of days required for production order & purchase requisition before 15 days, as delivery days are maintained 15 days in MRP view.
Please check & revert.

RG,
For the assembly you need to have the inhouse production days = (30+actual processing time) and for the raw material planned delivery days 30.
Now in the scheduling parameters OPU3 define for your plant/order type combination for Adjust date = "Adjust basic dates, adjust dependent requirement to order start date".
Now to control the execution of the order, define the check control using OPJK, for the order type/plant/ business function "2"- release, in material availability section, unflag "no check check" check box and for release material use "3"- No release if parts are missing.
Hope the above would able to control the execution of order, as order release would not be possible till the materails are available in stock.

Prasobh
