Open Text VIM with BTP DMS

Open Text VIM documentation says that Open Text VIM  Fiori may not work with BTP DMS

Has anyone being able to make Open Text VIM Fiori work with BTP DMS (Document Management Service)

Yes, it works - we did.

But we are starting to think about to move to a third supplier Archiv solution.

BTP DMS is not very transparent how files are stored. If you are already familiar with classical archive solutions you will notice that BTP DMS is „poor“ content storage.

In addition we were faced with poor knowledge on our SAP AMS supplier as well as SAP directly. Working with other Archiv providers is more promising in terms of willingness to be responsive, give support and having deep knowledge.

Did you have to make any changes in VIM to make work with BTP DMS

So, you don’t recommend using BTP DMS?
