Open PS

Hello,

My client is using SAP PS for project execution and doing scheduling in SAP.

When he is downloading data from SAP ECC to MS office project using open PS functionality and interface , dates are getting changed.

The users are encountering the same issue even on exporting the data using CN41- Evaluation - Export- MS Office project (MPX) route.

How can I retain the same dates as those in SAP?

Thanks and best regards

Bharat Parikh

Hi

The dates are part of the user parameters set in SAP.

Please change the same and then download as per the required format through the report CN41N, etc.

It will work then.

Hello Bharat,

Check the time zone on the user's desktop and the calander and time zone maintained in MS Project... i guess this effects the schedule dates while transfer between SAP PS and MS Project tru Open PS..

If you are facing still problem revert back !!!

Hello Bharat,

Yep !!

I remember you and feeling same as per your reply !!

While exporting data using CN41- Evaluation - Export- MS Office project (MPX) route, Can you please confirm me few things....

1. Are you getting duration of activities in MSP remains same as in SAP PS ?

2. If so, is there factory calander maintained same with holidays in both SAP PS and MSP ?

3. If the above two cases are similar in both applications, there should be Time Zone conflict on user's system ! This is the exact problem i faced earlier.

Please revert back !!

Regards,

Hari.

Hello,

Thanks.

There is nothing like point no. 51 and page no 13 in this SAP note. If you have SAP note with information as per your mail, please share.
