Once credit memo of rebate is cleared for accounting. Is there a way to reopen that rebate agreement

I have a scenario where rebate agreement has closed and its credit memo has also been cleared.

Can anyone tell me if there's any way to reverse the scenario and re-open the rebate agreement?

Hi Sumit,

Please follow the below steps

1) Cancel Credit memo.

2) Delete Credit memo Request .

3) Then go to T.Code : VBO2 ,Enter Rebate agreement number and

   under CONTROL DATA---

     Set Agreement status = OPEN

By this way you can open the rebate agreement.

Could you Please explain the business scenario,for which the rebate agreement to be opened,once it has been settled and cleared.

Hi S Jeeva,

i tried to replicate the scenario.

I cancelled the credit memo. then tried to delete the credit memo request but its not allowing to delete the credit memo request. I tried to add the reason rejection but still when i open rebate agreement in VBO2. its coming in display mode only.
