HI

IN THE STEP MAINTAIN COCODE FOR MATERIAL MGT (OMSY) BY MISTAKE I CHANGED THE PERIOD, I AM NOT ABLE MODIFY THIS , IN DNG MIGO , IT IS SHOWING ERROR MESSAGE, EVEN I HAVE GIVEN THE SAME PERIOD WHICH I HAVE GIVEN THEIR.

PLS MAKE IT CLEAR I WILL ASSIGN POINTS.

Hi Swathi,

Go to T code OMSY there besides to your Company code see whether <b>ABp</b> box is checked or not if this is checked you can post the entries in the previous period also. See the below.

Allow Posting to Previous Period (Back posting)

Indicator that allows posting to the previous period (back posting). In this case, the previous period is the preceding month.

Procedure

If you do not want to allow posting to the previous period, you must cancel the indicator (if set). Please note, however, that the indicator is set again automatically during period closing, re allowing posting to the previous period.

Dependencies

If you do not want the indicator to be set automatically during period closing, set the indicator Disallow back posting generally.

Don't select the <b>DBp</b> check box.
