Old Material Ref No and Blocking of material

HI Fnrds,

In the material master we maintain the Old Material No reference , is there any standard report where i can see the old material ref against my new material ??

After a certain period of time we delete or block some of the materials , i dont want those materials to be shown in the F4 Help ( Search ) , how to do that , is there any option for that ???

Hi,

there is no such standard report to extract the Old matl number for the original material.for this you can extract the same through table MARA with field BISMT(Old matl number) in SE16N.

If you will delete the material data then it will not show in F4 search as it was in archive.
