Hi Friends,
I have a query. We are defining the Material Type attributes, then we are assigning the number range to it from the available internal number ranges.
Can we add more number ranges????
Similarly while defining the document type for different purchasing documents like PR, RFQ etc..., we are assigning the available number ranges.
Can we create these number ranges by our own??
Please explain.
Thanks & Regards
Saeed Arif

Hi Saeed,
You can create n... number of number ranges....
only thing is you may have to asign one number range to each materila type and document type

hi,
Always remember you can assign one or more number range based on the use..for eg one for the internal procurement and other for the external procurement...This is only possible with the MMR from MMNR transaction but not possible with the VMR...In VMR you can define only one number range.
Also remember, internal number range can be numeric only but the external number range can alfanumeric.
Hope it helps..
