Number range issue with Wave Pick and RefNR

We have established necessary config to allow 2-step picking in our warehouse.

We use VL06P to great a wave pick group. The number range defined in config has range 2000000000 - 2999999999.

We then use VL37 Wave Pick monitor to review the details and then from the menu path select "Subsequent Processes -> 2-Step picking -> Start picking".

This launches LT0E and immediately the system inserts the wave pick number (lets say 2000000005 for example) into the GROUP field.

When trying to continue the process the system then issues error 00 058 Entry 2000000005 does not exist - check your entry.

It goes on to say "Input values must be defined in Table T311. The value or values

'2000000005 ' are not specified in this table".

When i review T311 2000000005 is certainly in the list.

However it appears that txn LT0E is actually requiring the REFNR (an internally created number).

This seems ridiculous as there is no obvious link to a user between the two.

Does anyone have any experience with this problem?

Many thanks

Scott

Dear Scott,

Here it's a few suggestions:

1. back to the WM number range assignment pages (/nOMLW) or directly using /nLN02 then thick the Ext column. It means u can use an external number for your TO ( no more config)

2. check your number range assignment for storage bin using /nOMLW

3. try to type your number range manually then execute, if this can by pass the error message you can ask your sys admin to find patch for this problem in SAP OSS notes

Good luck

Created a new number range and synchronised them.
