Number range for trans./event type WA in year 2012 does not exist Message no. M7562

Hi All,

Please help me for the following error which I am getting during stock upload through T code MB1C.

Number range for trans./event type WA in year 2012 does not exist

Message no. M7562

I already checked the necessery settings for the T Code as follows.

1.OMBA

2.OMBT

3.MMRV ( Current Period is O8/2012 )

4. OMSY ( Company Code & Current Period is Ok. )

5.OBF4.

6.OB52 ( + A D K M S is maintained properly for the year of 2012)

Please help me in this regards.

Hi,

This problem occurs if number ranges were not extended for the fiscal period for WA.You can use the transactions: OMBT

Select the group that contains the event type in question. In this case it is “WA”  and hit enter.

Insert a new Interval for the fiscal year that does not exist. In this case, 2012 does not exist yet.

Repeat the MB1C you are doing and it should be resolved

dear sir i follow the process what u mentioned... but i am unable to enter

the Insert a new Interval for the fiscal year that does not exist. In this case, 2012 does not exist yet. New interval for fy  2012 ..

after select wa there is no interval bottom active to insert....

plz guide me with step...

i am unable to use t code -OMBT... HELP ME WITH STEPS..

you fallow the vankat answer , after you insert the year , like below settings , then you maintain the year number ranges like below screen

Read OSS Note 381203 - M7562:No. range f.trans./event type&in year&does not exist  It looks you have to maintain the number range in t.code OMRJ also,
