Hi,
My client is shutting down the server in the night for taking the back up. in this case when it is restarted next day production order No jumps 10 no forward. as the buffer is 10 in SPRO.
for example todays last production order no is 50000054. tomorrow when we create a order it will give the no as 50000064.
how to solve this issue. I want to take the next production order i.e 50000055.
I went to SNRO and deleted the buffer . but still the result is same.
Your valuable suggestion is welcome.
Regards
Kumar
Kumar,
I am not sure what you are trying to mean by "Deleted the buffer".
Start Transaction SNRO and enter the object as "AUFTRAG".
- Choose 'Change'.
- Choose 'Edit' -> 'Set Up Buffering' -> 'No Buffering'.
Once this is done there is no longer any buffering for PP/PM/PS.
Caution: As per SAP this can create performance Issue when creating order.

Hi Prasobh,
my issue is very simple system should take the next production order even the server is restarted. now it is jumping forward 10 nos.
How to achieve that so that there should be no impact on the system.
what I did is I deleted the nos from the field No. of Numbers in Buffer for OBJECT
AUFTEILREG Number range, allocation rule
AUFTEILER Number range allocation table
AUFTRAG Order Number Ranges
Still it is not taking the next production order No.
Shell I do the process as u suggested - Choose 'Change'.
- Choose 'Edit' -> 'Set Up Buffering' -> 'No Buffering'.
already I have done the above process deleting the nos from the field No. of Numbers in Buffer for OBJECT
AUFTEILREG Number range, allocation rule
AUFTEILER Number range allocation table
AUFTRAG Order Number Ranges
Hope I am able to clear u the issue now.
Regards
Kumar
