No Inspection plan could be found

Hi Guru's ,

We have inspection lot created on 12.01.2014. Lot is in status CRTD CHCR SPRQ. For material we have two inspection plans. For one inspection plan Valid from date is 08.05.2014 & for another inspection plan valid from date is 04.05.2014. Material assignment is done for both the plans. Check boxes post to insp. stock., Insp. with task list, Automatic assignment & check chars are selected for insp. type in material master. In material assignment for inspection plan key date is shown as 09.05.2014.

When the user tries to assign the inspection plan by entering the key date 08.05.2014 system gives error No inspection plan could be found. Inspection plan usage is 5 & both the plans are released. lot size for both the plans is correctly maintained.

What could be the reason for error?

Hi Amit,

Reason for the error is validity date of inspection plan. Inspection lot is created in past date (12.01.2014) and inspection plan is valid from 04.05.2014 onwards. How system will assign the inspection plan to inspection lot which is created in past?? Create inspection plan with valid date as on lot created date or past date and assign the as suggested as Roopesh.

Dear Amit,

As the inspection lot is created in the past, and later the inspection plan, this type of errors comes,make sure that the key date in the inspection plan and inspection lot is same and check in the inspection plan header status as relased, the probelm gets resolved.

Dear Amit,

Try the following :

• Please check the Inspection Plan header for Usage, it should be '05' Goods Reciept with Status '04' Released.
• Please check the Usage in the Insp. Specification tab of the Inspection lot. That should match with the Inspection plan.
• Once the Tasklist is assigned, calculate the samples in the Sample Tab.
  

Once the criteria are met, when you press the "Select Tasklist/Spec" button, system provide option to choose from the two inspection plan available for the combination.
