New udf fields on Crystal Reports template

Hello,

I have designed a print layout template based on crystal reports.

When I add new udf fields to the table in SBO (ODLN), I cannot find those fields on the crystal reports.

How can I find those fields without removiing the table and adding it again .

Thanks,

Joseph

The easiest thing to do to get these to show up (and make sure everything is up-to-date) is to go to the Database Menu and choose Verify Database. This should sync everything back up. This will also happen automatically (sometimes) when you preview the report in the Crystal Reports Designer.

Hopefully that helps.

Hi Joseph.....

Is that your CR based on Query report or you are directly picking values from SAP Tables?

It is based om documents and get the data directly from tables.

Hi Joseph.....

Opne that particular Crystal rrport where you want changes as per newly created UDFs. Click on Database Expert and login to the database as it asks.

The moment you login into DB through CR it ask to map and unmap fields. Here you try to find the UDFs created and just verify the database.

Hope this will help you......

Hi,

Also sometimes updateing your datasource helps.

Right click on the database fields in field explorer, choose set datasource location, and update the table with itself.

The UDF fields should show up now!

Hope this helps.

D
