Hi All,

My client has requirment where he needs a monthly lot size "MB" for the Raw materials but that lot size must consolidate the requirements in the past month as well with the requirment of the current month so that we only have one requirement.

In current scenario if we use MB lot size and if we have requirment of 100 pc in month of May and 100 PC in month of June then 2 PR will be created. One for Last month and another for this month. Client wants only one PR for both month and wants Last month requirment sto be clubed with this month requirment it self.

I think I have not made my self clear..

I gave the examples of May and June only for Understanding. In short client needs to clusb all the past due requirments with current month requirment itself. He does not want seperate PR for past months requirment. Now requirment could be 2 or 3 or 4 month old.

Instead of looking at some custom solution, why not combine the PR's during PR to PO mass creation?

Would the above not be acceptable? If there is a specific reason as to why it has to be done at PR stage itself, can you share it with us?

There are more that 1000 Raw materials and most of them have past due requirments. Reason that it has to be done during PR stage it self taht combining different PR to single materials so many materials will be very difficult and time consuming.

Thanks for suggestion though. But client did not accept it.

You don't have to do it manually one by one. Get in touch with your MM consultant he / she will show you how the mass conversion works. Once you see it then make a decision of whether to use it or not.

Hi,

Use periodic lot size PK. Create a Planning calendor with each period = 2 months.
