Multiple Reminder Mails/Fax going to Vendor for PO

HI,

We are sending reminders for PO to Vendor. We have configured a new PO Output type for the same. All the configuration settings are in place and output is getting generated.

The output is triggered based on a batch job which runs daily, and based on the selection parameters in the variant different POs are selected and output is generating.

But this output is getting trigerred for all the selected POs daily and not on the basis of reminder days available in the respective POs. For exampole if in PO, reminder days are 2,5 and 10. Logically the reminder should go after 2,5 and 10 days of the delivery date. But currently this reminder is going daily as soon as the batch job in run.

Please let me know if any settings missing for this.

What you describe is unusual, it should be like you expect it to be.

What program does this batch job execute?

My general approach is to execute something manually until I am satisfied, and then I schedule it as a batch job.

The execution of the dunning report usually changing the dunnning level in the PO item which is due for dunning.Is this dunning level field updated with each run?

Hi Jurgen,

In the batch job we have scheduled the standard SAP program which is used in ME91F t-code i.e.RM06ENMA.

By Dunnig Level do you mean by the field "No.of Expeditors"? If so, Yes that field is getting updated in the POs after every run.

can you tell me what fields and boxes are used in the variant for the background programm?

Hi Jurgen,

We have selected following fields and checkboxes in the varinat -

Purchasing Organisation, DocumentType, Purchasing Group, Vendor, Reference Date (as the current system date) and checkbox for Generate and Save Message is ticked.

ok, looks good, I tought you missed the checkbox for generate and save.

I have no further ideas. you may have to debug
