Hi All,

This enhancement is working fine in  Development & Quality. We are facing problem in Production only,  as no. of spool requests generating   for Bradly label printer with reference to No . of Line items  in GR example:  If GR is having 8 Line items

8 Spools requests generated for bradly label printer and each request containing 8 labels. So,  total no. of labels are 8*8 = 64.

Please suggest us to  resolve this issue.

Regards

Sujatha

What are all the reasons that production can be out of sync with DEV and QA?

  • a new development is not yet released to production but already available in QA
  • master data is different
  • Test case varies from the error case in production

So you have to compare your customizing and the relevant master data to see where it is different, no stranger from SCN can do this for you.

Hello Sujatha,

maybe it helps if you set the user parameter NDR with blank value.

Then you should not get the pop-up anymore.

Hi,

Check OMJN setting on activation of Collective Slip with field : RM07M-WVERS3.

Also cross check with Technical consultant on multiple Spool requests generated on single GR output

Refer GR print config. details and related info

Kindly select collective slip in MIGO, maintain the following settings and then try.

Call the transaction MN22, input the condition type 'WE03' (Collective slip printout) and the required settings are,

1) Transaction Event/type: WE (GR for PO)

2) Print version: 3 (Collective slip)

3) Print item : 1 (Material Document printout)

Hi Laszlo,

Thanks for your response.

We are selecting Collective slips from drop down list in header level.

In Transaction SPAD selected No Device selection at front end. With these changes we can avoid pop ups but, in SP01 we are getting  Multiple ( If Line items are 7, Spool requests generated 7  and each spool request containing 7 labels so total no. of Prints are 7 *7 is 49) Spool request for Brady Label Printer

As per my observations  output type for this label printing is behaving as MB90 ( Item level printing manually).

Please suggest me on this  to avoid multiple spool request for the label printing.

Sujatha

Hello Preethi,

in this case the spool appending function can be used.

When several prerequisites are met, the spools will be automatically appended into one single spool.

The details are described in SAP Note #85318 - "Appending documents to existing spool requests".

What the main point here is: select in the application paramters the spool appending option. In the case of ABAP list printer popups this is the "New Spool Request = No; Do not Append Print Jobs = No" options. In the case of SAPScript / SmartForm / ADS print popups, do not turn on options "New Spool Request" and "Close Spool Request".

"Of course", the spool appending options need to be administered in the application settings.

Best regards,

Laszlo

Hello Sujatha,

I could have sworn there was a similar question in the past few days, but now I just can't find it.

Anyway, if I recall correctly, the solution was to select the "Collective Slip" print option in the dropdown list (under tab "General").

From a Basis point of view, you can turn off the Windows print popups alltogether if you go into transaction SPAD, open the Output Device for editing, and under tab "Access Method" enable the flag "No Device Selection at Frontend".

Now when you print frontend spools with this Output Device, no Windows printer popups will be shown at all.

Best regards,

Laszlo
