We have multiple inspection plan . if we have more than two how to select the priority and the selection criteria.Any advice will be highly appreciated
If You are using Multiple Inspection plan then You can alwaz catagerise them depending upon the Material assignment.(In Inspection plan header)
Suppose you have Inspection plan with Group X for a specific vendor or Customer or plant
Then for same material you can have GroupY for a differnrt vendor or Customer or Plant.
When Inspection lot is created corrosponding IP will get attached.

An inspection plan is uniquely identified by task list group and group counter.The system uses material, usage code, plan status and lot size to automatically select inspection plan.
You can create IP for different usage code, plan status and lot size ( for example model,inspection,prelimnary Inspection,goods issue inspection, from lot size X to lot size y, etc) for a material. In the QM view of MM, in Inspection type; we define for which task list usage, this material is to be linked with.
If there are 2 inspection Plan for same usage code, plan status and lot size; Inspection plan can not be assigned automatically.It is to be assigned manually; in this case after creation of Inspection Lot.
